How TOKYN works.

Getting started

TOKYN is fully non-custodial: every transaction is built in your browser and signed by your own wallet. We never see your private keys, never hold funds, and cannot act on your tokens.

Connect Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, or Coinbase Wallet from the button in the navigation. There is no signup and no email — your wallet is your account.

Creating a token

The wizard walks through five steps: network, details, image and socials, authorities, and review. The live preview card on the right updates with every keystroke.

Choose Devnet on the first step to rehearse for free. On mainnet, creation costs 0.1 SOL plus ~0.0025 SOL of network fees — always shown before your wallet opens.

Your image and metadata JSON are uploaded to IPFS via Pinata and follow the Metaplex Token Metadata standard, so every wallet and explorer renders them correctly.

Authorities: freeze and mint

Freeze authority can freeze any holder's token account; mint authority can create new supply. Both are widely treated as rug-pull risk while active.

You can disable either at creation (free, part of the create transaction) or revoke them later for 0.1 SOL each. Revocation is permanent and verifiable on-chain.

Liquidity pools and locks

TOKYN creates pools directly on Raydium — CPMM (recommended, 0.2 SOL) or Standard AMM (0.3 SOL plus ~2 SOL OpenBook rent). Your receipt deep-links into raydium.io for adding liquidity and trading.

Locking LP tokens places them in an on-chain Streamflow time-lock. You receive a public certificate URL to share with your community; the lock cannot be released early by anyone, including TOKYN.

How fees work

The platform fee is the first instruction inside the same transaction as your action. If the transaction fails, nothing is charged. Fees are non-refundable once confirmed on-chain.

Devnet is always free. Network fees (~0.0025 SOL) go to Solana validators.

Terms of service

TOKYN provides software tooling only. You are solely responsible for the tokens you create, their distribution, and compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. Platform fees are non-refundable once a transaction is confirmed on-chain. The software is provided as-is without warranty.

Privacy

TOKYN stores only what you see in your dashboard: wallet addresses, token mints, and transaction signatures — all already public on-chain. No emails, no tracking profiles, no sale of data.
